Approved Use:

• ​Indicated for use in performance of the radioactive iodine (RAI) uptake test to evaluate thyroid function
• Localizing metastases associated with thyroid malignancies

Dose:

• Thyroid uptake: 5 - 15 µCi
• Scintiscanning: 50 - 100 µCi
• Localization of extra-thyroidal metastases: 1 mCi

Expiration: 38 days after calibration date
Availability: First available for delivery on Monday (2 days before calibration).  Shipped daily. 
Appearance: Capsules are white on one half, while the other half is pink, yellow, orange, grey or green.  Color-coded decay calendar assigns a color and capsule activity for each week of the year.
